Terms of use

For client review: Draft terms written to the brief. A South African attorney must review these before launch, along with the registered entity name and any Consumer Protection Act wording.

Agreement

By using this site or creating a member account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
• Accounts are for one person and may not be shared.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You may close your account at any time from your profile.

Your content and your book

Everything you write in the Book Canvas stays your intellectual property. We store it so we can show it back to you, and we never publish, sell or use it for marketing. When you share a manuscript for review, you grant Oscar permission to read and comment on it until you withdraw that sharing.

Our content

The 14 Steps, the Book Sprint prompts, lessons, videos and written material are owned by Coach Oscar and licensed to you for personal use. You may not resell, republish or teach them as your own.

Bookings and payments

• Prices are shown in South African rand and include VAT where applicable.
• Sessions and programmes are confirmed once payment is received.
• Sessions rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice carry no fee.
• Missed sessions without notice are treated as delivered.

What coaching is and is not

Coaching supports your own decision-making. It is not financial, legal, medical or psychological advice, and results depend on the work you do. We make no guarantee of any specific business or financial outcome.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not use it to harass others or to share unlawful material. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise uninterrupted access. We may update features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid programmes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.
